Glazebrook House Hotel makes the ideal Devon wedding venue and offers everything you need for the perfect wedding. Whether you want a civil ceremony, a reception venue, or full exclusive use of the hotel, we’ll help you to plan a truly unforgettable day.

We cater for small or large weddings and have capacity for up to 80 people for the wedding breakfast and up to 120 people for an evening buffet. We have a large function room or a smaller dining room for more intimate weddings.

Organising a wedding can be a daunting task. As a top Devon wedding venue, we will be only too pleased to assist you with any aspect of your wedding day, from seating plans and menus to recommending local cars, cakes, photographers and florists.

Wedding reception

Room hire for a wedding reception at Glazebrook House Hotel depends on the menu option chosen:

  • Wedding Menu or Hamilton Buffet – includes free room hire for up to three hours
  • Extended room hire, Fork Buffet, Finger Buffet or Light Buffet only – £85 per hour
  • Main wedding meal plus evening buffet – no extra room charge

Our licensing requires that functions must finish at 12 midnight, with last orders at the bar by 11.45pm.

Accommodation

Our country hotel can accommodate up to 17 guests in our 10 bedrooms: three standard double rooms; one twin room; three 4-poster rooms including the Honeymoon suite; and three single rooms. All bedrooms are en-suite and furnished to a high standard.

Exclusive use

The total cost for exclusive use of the hotel and all the accommodation for your wedding is £1,450. If your wedding reception includes live music or a dicso then you must have exclusive use.

Terms and conditions

A non-returnable deposit of £500 is required to secure the booking of Glazebrook House as your hotel wedding venue. Full payment is required at least two weeks prior to the wedding. Full payment will be required for cancellation within three months of the wedding date.

For other functions, a non returnable deposit of 10% on booking is required.

All our menu choices are prepared and cooked by David Merriman who has an AA Rosette for Culinary Excellence. He actively supports local producers and suppliers when sourcing foods for the restaurant.

When catering for an evening buffet after a wedding you must cater for at least all those guests new to the evening and half of those attending the entire day.
