Weddings - The Ideal Venue
This magnificent mid-Victorian country house, set on an elevated site amidst beautiful landscaped grounds within Dartmoor National Park, is the perfect venue for Weddings, Family Celebrations or Private functions. Our elegant Function Room provides the right setting for a Civil Wedding Ceremony and Wedding Reception, whilst, for smaller numbers, our private Dining Room allows for a more intimate atmosphere.
The extensive gardens and the hotels’ impressive carved fireplace in the main hall make attractive backdrops for wedding photography.
Organising a wedding can be a daunting task. We will be only too pleased to assist you with any aspect of your wedding day, from seating plans and menus to recommending cars, cakes, photographers and florists.
The Glazebrook Hotel can cater for up to 80 people for the wedding breakfast and up to 120 for an evening buffet. Wedding Menu, Wedding Buffet's, Welcome Drinks

When The Wedding Menu or the Hamilton Buffet are chosen, room hire is included in the cost for up to 3 hours. For extended hire or where Fork or Finger Buffet or Light Buffet only are chosen, a charge of £65 per hour is made. When an evening Buffet is provided in addition to the main Wedding meal no extra room charge is made.
Weddings booked for May to September are subject to a minimum charge of £2000 for the day.
As a condition of our premises licence functions must finish at 12 midnight, last orders at the bar must be made by 11.45pm.
Accommodation
We can accommodate up to 17 guests in 3 standard double rooms, 1 twin, 3 four poster rooms including the Honeymoon suite and 3 singles. All rooms are en-suite and furnished to a high standard.
The total cost for exclusive use of the Hotel and all the accommodation is £1250.
If the evening function includes live music or a dicso you must have exclusive use.
Our Menus
For Weddings a non returnable deposit of £250 is required to secure the day. Full payment is required at least two weeks prior to the wedding. Full payment will be required for cancellation within 3 months of the day booked.
For other functions a non returnable deposit of 10% on booking is required
