Gem This hotel is a fabulous gem tucked away between Dartmoor and South Hams in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It’s quirky, tasteful and totally gorgeous. We stayed in Jabberwocky and the bed was just amazing, piled high with pillows you just sank into, it was sublime. The food was great both nights, probably the best steak ever, and we’ve had some good steaks! Absolutely loved it here.

Wonderful! My husband had a birthday treat at this hotel and it was so amazing. One of the best places we have ever stayed. The service was exemplary, the food quality amazing and the room was so decadent. The staff were so professional, the garden igloo was a lot of fun - I will stay again!

Unbelievable! My partner and I had a one night stay at this incredible hotel. Everything about our stay was perfect - the luxury room, the gorgeously unique decor, the delicious food, the lovely staff. Pieter and Fran have created a very special place. We will most definitely be back!

Sunday Lunch Perfect little quirky gem, very good service, friendly staff, amazing food in a very intimate little setting. Had a lovely Sunday lunch on our first visit here today and will definitely be revisiting soon.
Good selection of food on the menu, food was delicious and very well presented.

Stunning, individual, but homely, cosy and welcoming Our first visit for a lovely Sunday lunch at this beautiful place far exceeded my expectations. In the heart of Devon so close to home yet unknown till today. I cannot recommend this beautiful oasis highly enough. Private dining or fabulous restaurant, your choice. This small boutique hotel and restaurant has been lovingly and tastefully restored and is a feast to the eyes with its own individual personality by its hard working owners who determine to give everyone a unique experience. Each of the rooms is themed and total luxury. Glazebrook is set in beautiful countryside yet only minutes from the A38. I will definitely be going again.

Comfy, cosy and beautiful After visiting Glazebrook a few times over the last year and always enjoying our visits we knew it'd be a great venue to celebrate our wedding. We weren't interested in a wedding package and preferred to have afternoon tea with family and a room for my husband and I to stay in, with an evening meal too. Glazebrook were more than happy to accommodate us and had no problems moving things around when we had to postpone our date due to covid-19.
The staff strictly followed the new guidelines but were also very friendly and cautious not to take anything away from our special day. The afternoon teas were delicious and beautifully presented, the service was great & the decor is fantastic. We stayed in the Mad Hatter room (softest, comfiest bed ever!) which had some very lovely touches including The White Company toiletries in my favourite noir scent! It was also lovely to see how busy the hotel was and that all other guests were also enjoying themselves.
We'd like to say a big thank you to Pieter, Mica, Shammy and the rest of the Glazebrook team for making our day a special one and we're very much looking forward to our next visit.

Gorgeous cream tea My wife and I had a absolutely gorgeous afternoon tea together.....The service from the moment we arrived was brilliant, the waiter was so helpful. The food was gorgeous, almost too good to eat. And after we had a cocktail in the bar, served once again by a very friendly staff....

A beautiful hotel with great service in a lovely part of the world = an excellent break. I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel enormously - it exceeded my expectations in every department; from beautiful and well manicured grounds, to fabulously quirky and interesting interior design, to welcoming and friendly staff to excellent food and drinks service .... it was a great stay and a real find. We shall definitely return.
PS. The hotel was very clean and whilst the Covid protocols were strictly adhered to in every part of the hotel that we visited, it never felt intrusive or spoiled the atmosphere.

A Real Wonderland Glazebrook House is a truly wonderful, unique boutique hotel. Great location for striking out to Dartmouth and beyond.
It’s quirkiness makes it really special; each room is themed on Alice in Wonderland and we stayed in the Cheshire Cat room. A beautiful, large room which felt opulent but really comfortable- and the bed ... oh the bed .... like being wrapped in cashmere on top of cloud.
The bathroom with double shower and marble sinks is a venue in its own right !!
The food is all excellent and service and atmosphere is not lost by the necessary social distancing. All of the staff just want to make your stay special.
Glazebrook Hotel is a definite MUST VISIT - we will definitely be back. More

Fantastic mini stay-cation Myself and a group of friends were able to take the opportunity to book an overnight stay at this beautiful establishment. This wasn’t our first visit to The Glazebrook but the majority of us hadn’t had the pleasure of being a resident for the night. We were so lucky that the weather was on our side, as this gave us the chance to enjoy the stunning garden and explore the new garden igloos, which allow you to have a piece of The Glazebrook experience in the surroundings of the property’s elegant landscaped gardens. The staff were so attentive and friendly from the moment we arrived. My evening meal was lovely, I would highly recommend the pea panacota with crab and market fish chowder! My room (Gryphon) was fantastic, it has a unique interior design, which can be seen throughout the hotel. The bed was so comfortable! Breakfast didn’t disappoint either, lots of delicious options from continental to cooked. Our visit was just after lockdown, which meant that certain precautions had been put in place to keep the guests and staff safe. This had no negative affect on our stay, it only highlighted the staff’s dedication to provide the very best customer service, I couldn’t of faulted them. Well done everyone and thank you for an unforgettable experience! Until the next time ...... More
