Amazing room Great hotel, fantastic service (I stay in hotels over 100 nights a year - so I don't say fantastic lightly). It's a beautiful property, with stunning bedrooms. The food was amazing. Quite expensive overall, but very good value for money for somewhere special.

Ditto all the other 5* reviews! We stayed here for two nights, wanting easy access to Plymouth. The hotel, although quirky in decor, manages to be extremely comfortable and relaxing.
We ate in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food we had, particularly in the evening, was absolutely superb. We found it superior to a lot of top London restaurants that we have visited.
There is a complimentary mini-bar in the room with sweets, chocolate bars, wine and soft drinks - excellent idea, so lovely to come back from a day out walking and have something to nibble on without feeling ripped off like with other hotel mini-bars.
Chloe is an absolute asset to the hotel, so very friendly and welcoming and she managed to rustle up a few amazing cocktails that weren't on the menu at my request.
The only slight negatives we found were that we like to sleep with the window open and you can hear traffic from the A38 which is fairly close by, and in the White Rabbit room where we stayed, there is not much hanging space for clothes.
We definitely plan to return, if only for another meal in the amazing restaurant.

Glazebrook long weekend. Lovely quirky interior to this hotel. Beautiful garden and surrounding walks through the woods. Fantastically stocked bar with a vastly knowledgable mixologist who was friendly, chatty and interesting. Mixed great drinks too!
Comfortable beds and beautifully appointed rooms. Good service and food.
    All in all a lovleybreak.

Stunning venue . What a beautiful hotel and restaurant . We went there for
a family birthday and it was exceptional. As soon as you walk through the luxurious hallway, the hosts welcome you.
This house is exceptional with all sorts of quirky artefacts to keep you interested.
The restaurant is lovely, combine that with the really
friendly staff and great food, it's the perfect place to be for
    Lunch or dinner.
It's a pity that the weather was so rainy, otherwise we would have liked to explore the beautiful surroundings.
It was a really great day thanks to the welcome and exceptional
service from the hosts and staff. Thank you.

Awesome place Wow, what a stunning little hidden gem this hotel is - nestled in the countryside in Devon, beautiful inside and out, very quirky decor based on Alice in Wonderland the attention to detail is fantastic. We stayed in ‘white rabbit’ room which was superb, really comfy bed and beautiful room and bathroom with a huge selection of complimentary extras. We had the 8 course taster menu with wine pairing which was lovely - would happily recommend the restaurant. The staff were all really lovely in particular Chloe the manageress who couldn’t do enough for us and was really warm and welcoming and friendly and the absolute star for us Shamy the bar manager and sommelier, such a lovely guy and so knowledgeable - we absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely go back but next time we’ll stay longer!
