As you know, Fran and I decided in October 2021 that we would be closing our doors as a hotel and restaurant at the end of December that year. Our plan was to continue making the venue available for weddings and milestone events on an “exclusive-use” only basis, which we did until June 2022. Having received planning permission to use the house as a private residence in the meanwhile, we decided to market the property as either a venue or a residence. While we had some good interest in the property and several offers, we were unable to reach a contracted sale.

Our intention now is to continue using Glazebrook House as our home, but simultaneously marketing it as a exclusive use venue for hire for special events such as weddings, milestone celebrations, family reunions, corporate events, shooting parties, wellness retreats, etc. Whilst the house is fully equipped for self- catering use, our strategy is to also partner with a local event planning and management company for guests who would like a be-spoke and fully catered service for their special event.

We are extremely excited at making Glazebrook House available as a celebratory events venue once again, and truly hope that our prior customers and friends may be interested in its use. Fran and I look forward to hearing from you, and more importantly, to hopefully seeing you back for a magical experience!
