Hotel & Restaurant Reopening Announcement

Share

Dear Glazebrook House visitor,

We hope that you and your families are well, and as excited as we are on this long-awaited roadmap to “normality”!

As everyone knows, and like all other hotels and restaurant venues in England with limited outdoor capacity, we will be reopening our doors in mid-May this year, at the earliest. In our specific case, as we will continue to open weekly from Wednesdays to Sundays, we plan to welcome guests from WEDNESDAY, 19th MAY, 2021.

To allay guest’s concerns regarding a possible need to cancel, we currently require only 48 hours prior notice, so please be encouraged to make room and restaurant bookings from the above date – they can always be moved or cancelled should guidance so dictate.

Also, for voucher holders whose voucher expiration date is between December 2020 and May 2021, we are extending the validity until 30th of June, 2021 (and will review again if It becomes necessary).

As can be expected, we have been maintaining (and will continue to maintain) all the necessary hygiene and COVID-19 standards for an establishment such as ours. We can also assure all our guests that, despite the highly successful vaccine roll-out, we will remain vigilant in our efforts to protect them against the virus.

Our ethos continues to be, “Surprise, Delight and Enrich”. In keeping, we’ll focus on providing a magical experience for our guests, not only inside Glazebrook House, but also in our beautiful Victorian gardens, where we’ve enlarged our pond and added some additional seating. Our very popular igloos will once again be available for Afternoon and Cream teas and can be booked online, as can hotel rooms and restaurant tables.

During our closure our staff remain on furlough, so we apologise for delayed responses. We do though, want to say a big “thank you” for all the on-going support and look forward to welcoming you to our enchanting little part of beautiful Devon as soon as possible.
